For Adults
The library offers on-going programs such as adult coloring, card-making, and book discussion groups.
Current On-Going Programs
Card Creations Class
Join us as we make all-occasion greeting and note cards using cardstock, patterned paper and fun embellishments. Have fun creating and connecting with other crafters. Card Creations meets the first Monday of each month from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. This program will not meet in June-September.
Knit and Stitch
Bring your handiwork to the library Tuesday afternoons at 1:30 p.m. and have fun connecting with others as you knit, crochet or stitch.
Coloring
Enjoy this drop-in program for coloring enthusiasts. We have coloring pages, bookmarks, colored pencils, and markers. Bring your own supplies, too. Ask at the front desk for more information.
Afternoon Book Club
Read a novel or nonfiction selection then meet to discuss the book the first Monday of each month at 1:30 p.m. Contact a library staff member to reserve a copy of each month's selections.
Book Talk
We're changing up things with our monthly evening book club. Instead, we're featuring quarterly literacy-related events for adults. See our calendar of events for dates.
This fall we're meeting to catch up on what everyone's been reading over the summer. Discussion questions will ask readers to name their favorite characters, which should be made into a movie, and what would they recommend. There is no need to summarize plots or dig deep into topics. The tone of this event will be light and fun! A list of questions will be made available soon!
